At our company, we take our staffing practices seriously and adhere to state and federal regulations, including equal opportunity and non-discriminatory requirements. We require all applicants to consent to background checks, which include criminal records, sex and violent offender’s records, child abuse clearances, and checks for licenses, certifications, registrations, CPR, medical suitability, drugs and alcohol usage, and motor vehicle records. Our Direct Care Workers are highly trained and have completed required courses and competency assessments. They also have current CPR certificates and receive regular vaccinations and health checks. All new employees undergo a thorough orientation on our agency policies and related regulations and standards, and we provide scheduled, job-related training and development programs on an annual and as-needed basis for all employees.
